Annie has over ten years of experience both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. She is originally from Fort Worth, Texas and is a graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton. She currently resides in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
Before moving to California, Annie lived and worked throughout Texas and Las Vegas. In Texas, she worked as an on-air talent in Dallas (KTVT-TV), Houston (News 24 Houston), and Waco (KWTX-TV and KXXV-TV). Her credits include gigs at CBS, ABC, and Time Warner.
While working in Central Texas, Annie was only minutes away from Fort Hood and President George W. Bush’s Texas ranch. There she covered historic summits including visits from Russian President Vladmir Putin, Vice President Dick Cheney’s Address to Fort Hood troops, and President Bush’s Economic forum at Baylor University.
Annie has been fortunate enough to have interviewed President Bush and First Lady Hillary Clinton. She has also interviewed such movie stars as John Travolta, Hugh Grant, Chris Rock, and fellow Texans Dennis Quaid and Hillary Duff.
In Houston, Annie covered Super Bowl 38, the All-Star Baseball Game, the Clara Harris trial, various Enron hearings, and the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
After Texas, Annie moved to Las Vegas where she worked as both a night-side Reporter and Helicopter Reporter for the local ABC station (KTNV-TV). If you live in Vegas you probably remember her from the many reports she did from the Action News Hawk while hovering over the dazzling Las Vegas skyline.
While in Las Vegas, Annie also covered celebrity events like ShowWest and many community oriented stories including education, real estate, light-rail, and the notable Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman. She also served as Correspondent for the ION TV show "Living Additions".
Throughout Annie's career she has been no stranger to the "behind the scenes" footwork that TV, film, and video often involve. That's why she founded Three Media Productions, LLC. Three Media's clients included Robin Leach and AOL. Annie also headed up the Las Vegas Bureau for DNN Real Estate News. DNN, hosted by Bob Losure, was the first 24 hour news network covering the real estate market. In addition, DNN produced the "Real Estate Shopping Network Show", which aired in Las Vegas, Palm Springs, San Diego, and Los Angeles. DNN also produced content for Yahoo Finance and created the short film “Kids Kastle”, which won the 2006 Las Vegas 48 Hour Film Festival.
Under the blanket of Annie Blanco Media Services, Annie has produced commercials and other videos for various politicians, realtors, hotels, and other businesses. Her business caters to the client looking for a high caliber, artistically crafted video.
